varietal Fiano
A vibrant Fiano which displays classic characteristics of this Italian variety like zesty citrus, juicy stone fruit and roundness brought on by time spent on lees.
Tasting Notes
The Banrock Station Reserve Fiano comes from the Limestone Ridge vineyard in Barmera, a sub-region of the Riverland in South Australia. This Vineyard is close to Banrock Station, with the grapes used being harvested in the cool of the night with them being gently tank pressed and cold settled before being lightly racked to ferment. The wine was also put through further cool fermentation and allowing for 4 months of lees contact.
